AICS offers French classes to elementary (Grades 1-6), twice a week, and secondary (Grades 7-12), four classes a week. The secondary students are divided into four groups according to their levels.
Elementary School
Grades 1-4 are learning a unit on weather and seasons. Grades 5/6 are learning about hobbies, activities and the school timetable.
Secondary School:
French 1 are working on prepositions, verbs aller/venir, how to talk about things they learn in school and time table.
French 2 are working on the passé compose with auxiliary verbs: etre and avoir.
French 3 are working on the comparative and the superlative.
The advanced students are working on the pronoms relatives, and on a project of writing a play using this year’s ten words of the Francophonie.
